CommuniLinks is a voluntary, community-driven initiative (not a registered legal entity) that operates the Shared Freedom project. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our website.
Waitlist Signup (Buyers): When you sign up for the Shared Freedom waitlist, we collect your first name, last name, email address, estimated quantity of Haggadot, and preferred language. This information is submitted voluntarily.
Supplier Registration: When a supplier registers, we collect business details (name, registration number, address, contact information), military service information (personal number, unit, last draft date), logistics capabilities, payment methods, and product catalog details. All information is submitted voluntarily by the supplier.
Automatically Collected Information: We do not use tracking cookies, analytics services, or any third-party tracking tools on this website. We do not collect IP addresses, browsing behavior, or device information beyond what is technically required to serve the website.
We use the information you provide solely for the purpose of the Shared Freedom initiative:
— To notify waitlist members when ordering becomes available.
— To evaluate and connect with suppliers who wish to participate.
— To facilitate connections between buyers and suppliers.
— To communicate with you about the initiative.
We will never use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the Shared Freedom initiative.
Waitlist data is processed through Netlify Forms and stored on Netlify's servers, subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy.
Supplier data is transmitted to and stored in Google Sheets via Google Apps Script, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but as a voluntary initiative without dedicated IT infrastructure, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet or stored on third-party platforms.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
— Between buyers and suppliers, to the extent necessary to facilitate a connection or transaction that you have requested.
— With our volunteers and team members who need access to fulfill the purpose of the initiative.
— If required by law (though as a non-registered entity, such situations are unlikely).
You may request at any time to:
— Access the personal data we hold about you.
— Correct any inaccurate information.
— Delete your data from our records.
— Withdraw from the waitlist or supplier registration.
